Dream Holiday Destination – Update #6

I have finished UV wrapping the snowman model shown below. I used a wool texture for the scarf, which was a bit annoying to wrap. The seam is on the inside of the torus but the outside edges where the UVs meet doesn’t quite match up properly. I have decided it’s not enough to worry about to get it fixed as the camera for the video clip won’t be going close enough to a snowman to see. The same goes for the carrot nose; it’s a bit sharper than I first realised, so I may go back and fiddle with it a bit, but again I have decided that it isn’t a priority to fix.

The snow also has orange and blue specks showing in certain areas and lighting conditions which I don’t quite know how to fix without getting rid of the sparkles altogether. I am hoping the camera won’t pick them up so that I don’t have to fix this issue as well, but if it does then I’ll need to decide if it’s worth finding a new way to get the sparkly areas or if it’s alright if I leave this as it is.
